Tax Law

The Panamanian tax system is based on the territoriality principle wherein only transactions from Panamanian sources are subject to taxation. Therefore, those transactions performed or executed outside the fiscal Panamanian territory are all tax-exempted.

Our firm has a team of attorneys with a vast experience providing guidance to national and foreign clients in relation to Panamanian fiscal standards and the implications of businesses and financial or commercial transactions to be carried out in the Republic of Panama.

We provide guidance to our clients on how to structure their operations in such a way as not to produce tax expenses greater than those legally established and inform them on exemptions, fiscal benefits of certain operations and fiscal news of interest.
