DANI KUZNIECKY
Dani Kuzniecky is a distinguished attorney with a solid national and international trajectory in the areas of corporate governance, estate planning, and family business advisory. He currently serves as a Senior Partner at FABREGA MOLINO, where he advises clients on wealth structuring, corporate matters, and the establishment of business operations in the Republic of Panama. Throughout his career, he has built an extensive network of professional contacts across Latin America and Europe, enabling him to deliver strategic legal advice in complex international contexts.
 
In the public sphere, Mr. Kuzniecky has held several prominent positions within the Government of Panama. As Comptroller General of the Republic, he championed initiatives to enhance accountability, implement economies of scale, digitalize public sector processes, and optimize government spending—contributing significantly to administrative efficiency. He was subsequently appointed Minister for Canal Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Panama Canal, during the period in which the Canal’s expansion—one of Panama’s most important infrastructure projects—was successfully completed. Additionally, he served as the country’s first Secretary of Energy, leading the creation of the National Energy Secretariat and promoting policies for the development and modernization of the energy sector.
 
More recently, Mr. Kuzniecky served as Technical Secretary of the National Commission against Money Laundering and the Financing of Weapons of Mass Destruction, where he played a key role in advancing Panama’s removal from international monitoring lists.
 
He currently combines his legal practice with academic and advisory activities, offering expertise in ethics, corporate governance, family succession planning, analysis of economic and political environments, and the training of corporate boards and executive committees. His dual experience in both the public and private sectors positions him as a leading figure in the design and reinforcement of effective governance structures.

Counsel of Grupo Corporativo Perez in the sale of AutoTrust (Trust Company) to Financial Warehousing of Latin America, INC. (FWLA). Our assistance included the negotiation of all transaction documents and approval processes at the Superintendence of Banks.

Counsel of Grupo Cementos Progreso (Guatemala) in the acquisition of Cemento Interoceanico, S.A. (Panamá) an operating producer and distributor of cement and concrete.  Our assistance included a full due diligence report, negotiation, and execution of all transaction contracts and legal documentation; we continue to advise Cementos Progreso Panamá.

Counsel of Empresas Tagaropulos, S.A. (Panama), a national distributor of massive consumption products in the sale of its assets to Felipe Motta, S.A. (Panama) and orderly winddown of operations. In addition to all relevant transaction agreements, we assisted in securities regulation matters with the Securities Market and the Panama Stock Exchange’s Superintendence.
