DANI KUZNIECKY

Dani Kuzniecky is a lawyer with extensive national and international experience in corporate governance, estate planning, and family businesses. He is currently a senior member of the Firm FABREGA MOLINO.

Dani has an active participation in various Board of Directors and Committees as an independent director for national and regional companies for the last sixteen years. The company’s activities included banking, finance, retail, manufacturing, real estate, health, and important family groups. He counsels family in governance matters, strategy, and corporate governance.

Besides, he has served as General Comptroller of the Republic of Panama
(2004-2007), Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Panama Canal Authority
(2007 – 2009) and Minister for Canal Affairs and Secretary of Energy (2007-2009), and has also acted as Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Institute of Corporate Governance in the Republic of Panama (2013-2014).  

Mister Kuzniecky was an adviser to the Ministry of  Economy and Finance of Panama and Technical Secretary of the National Commission against money laundering finance terrorism.
 

Dani is an active speaker in local and international congresses on topics related to corporate governance and ethics.

Counsel of Grupo Corporativo Perez in the sale of AutoTrust (Trust Company) to Financial Warehousing of Latin America, INC. (FWLA). Our assistance included the negotiation of all transaction documents and approval processes at the Superintendence of Banks.

Counsel of Grupo Cementos Progreso (Guatemala) in the acquisition of Cemento Interoceanico, S.A. (Panamá) an operating producer and distributor of cement and concrete.  Our assistance included a full due diligence report, negotiation, and execution of all transaction contracts and legal documentation; we continue to advise Cementos Progreso Panamá.

Counsel of Empresas Tagaropulos, S.A. (Panama), a national distributor of massive consumption products in the sale of its assets to Felipe Motta, S.A. (Panama) and orderly winddown of operations. In addition to all relevant transaction agreements, we assisted in securities regulation matters with the Securities Market and the Panama Stock Exchange’s Superintendence.
