ANA LORENA MORALES

Ana Lorena is a partner in our Public Contracting Department, where she advises public procurement, energy and telecommunication, and administrative and regulatory work. She specializes in clients with government contracts and those with licenses or concessions for regulated activities.

Ana Lorena is active in all legal matters related to corporate law, due diligence process, mergers, and acquisitions.

She is also the head of the Shipping practice area, providing a wide range of legal services in connection with vessels and mortgage registrations, and ship financing transactions.

Ana Lorena has advised clients in various industries, such as construction,  telecommunications, energy, public transport, advertising, and the media sector. In public procurement or concessions, she has advised contractors and dealers who have been awarded the most important projects of recent governments

  • FABREGA MOLINO advised an International Bank and MetroTrust S.A. in the extension of the maturity date of US$ 210 Million in CDNO’s relating to the Line 2 of the Panama City Metro system issued by Metro de Panama S.A.
  • FABREGA MOLINO advised MetroBank, S.A., in the $15 Million financings to the Consorcio Linea 2 del Metro de Panama for the Metro Line 2 Ramal’s partial construction – Tocumen International Airport segment. 
  • Legal Advisers of Cementos Progreso, of the Guatemalan capital, purchased all the shares of the Panamanian capital company Cementos Interoceanico. The transaction represents the entry of Cementos Progreso, with a 120-year history, into the Panamanian market.
  • Legal Advisers of Noray Desarrollo y Gestión de Recursos Hídricos, S.L. in due diligence and acquisition of a construction project and operation of “Campo Solar La Victoria” a 9.97 MW photovoltaic plant.
  • Legal Advisers of purchasers acquire three solar plants located in Coclé and Azuero (27,502 MW). We assisted in negotiating and executing transaction documents and continued to advise on regulatory, commercial, and environmental matters during construction.
  • The Firm acts as legal counsel for ACCIONA Construccion, S.A. since 2017. We have assisted them with several government construction projects, such as Hospital Centro Especializado Dr. Rafel Hernandez.
  • The Firm advised the Spanish company CLH Aviación in the public bid for the fuel dispatch concession in Tocumen International Airport and other regional airports. CLH Aviación won the bidding in September 2017.
