Practice Experience
Ana Lorena practices focus on government contracts, including the review of tender rules and the preparation of bid documents, government permits, administrative law and regulatory issues on public service utilities.   In the area of administrative matters, she assists and guide clients in the establishment of their business operations in Panama, including the registration of the proper business vehicle, whether it is registering a branch of a foreign corporation or forming a Panamanian subsidiary and securing all required national and municipal business licenses and operation permits.

She has advised clients in various branches, such as the telecommunications sector, energy sector, infrastructure, public transport, advertising and media sector, among others.

In the area of public procurement or concessions, she has advised contractors and dealers who have been awarded the most important projects of recent governments.

Ana Lorena also is active in all legal matters related to corporations, due diligence process and mergers and acquisitions.
